Damage and Hot Tub Policies – Nellie's Farmhouse

On arrival, a cash deposit of 350 euro will be taken to insure against the potential of damages which may incur during your stay by both you and other guests in your party. The money will be returned at end of your stay, after a full check of the property and amenities are completed by the owner.
You must keep the property and its content(s), including all furniture, electronic equipment, fixtures, fittings and effects in, on or at the Property in the same state of repair as at the start of the stay. You agree to leave property as you found it. All breakages must be paid for. Drinking glasses are all accounted for however are excluded from the breakage policy, we only ask that you notify us of the location of any accidental breakages, and use the bin provided for such breakages (location shown on arrival), so we can eliminate the potential of theft, and so our cleaners can pay special attention to these areas.
Basic cleaning done by our staff is changing bed clothes, towels, vacuuming, and resetting the rooms; please wash up all dishes, empty dishwasher and return all crockery, dishes, and utensils to their correct place. Recycling bins will be located in the courtyard (location will be shown on arrival). All bottles, cans etc must be separated and put in to correct bins provided. Failure to do so will result in an extra fee. This is a strictly non-smoking property including vapes and disposables, any evidence of smoking inside the property will result in a loss of full damage deposit. Designated smoking areas are located around the property.
You are also responsible for the safekeeping of the Property and its contents, therefore you must remember, among others, to lock all doors and windows, and close gates to avoid sheep entering from neighboring farm, to ensure that the Property is safe upon your departure.
You will be responsible to reimburse the owner on behalf of the Property for all damage(s), breakages, or loss(es) caused to the Property by you and/or the rest of your guest(s).
Where any breakages, damage(s) or loss(es) occur, you should report it first hand to the Property (as soon as reasonably practicable, but always before checkout). The owner will be able to request a damage fee from you for any damage(s), breakage(s) and loss(es) made to the property and its contents (as defined above) up to 14 days after the end of your stay.
The maximum staying in the farmhouse is 8 people , any extra people on the premise will result in you not receiving your Damage deposit back

Hot Tub Rules

1. Please shower with soap before use, strictly no fake tan allowed (extra fee for this as a full empty and clean of the tub will be required.)

2. Don’t use under the influence of alcohol or narcotics, and strictly no drinking or use of glass in or near hot tub.

3. Maximum no. of people in hot tub is limited to 5 at any one time. No pregnant women or those with underlying medical conditions allowed to use hot tub. Children over the age of 12 are allowed but must be supervised at all times.

4. Please no jumping, diving, or horseplay, we are not held responsible for any accidents or injuries resulting from the use or association of the hot tub , enter and use at your own risk.

5. Do not enter if the temperature is above 40 degrees Celsius, limit your soak to 15 minutes and cool off before re-entry.

6. Guest A agrees to explain the risks of using the amenities and hot tub to any guests at the farmhouse and to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents, medical conditions, or injuries his or her guests may incur. Guest understands the risks discussed above and agrees that he or she will assume all responsibility for his or herself and their guests for the consequences of those risks.

7. Guest agrees to waive any claim whatsoever against Owner for accidents, medical conditions or claims arising from his or her own use or guests’ use of the farmhouse amenities or hot tub. Guest also understands and agrees that he or she is responsible and liable and will pay Owner upon request for any damages that occur to the farmhouse amenities and hot tub and its support equipment through his or her own or guests’ misuse and/or negligence, for example, failing to replace and secure the hot tub cover, walking on or otherwise damaging the hot tub cover, or damaging the hot tub filtration system with foreign objects, soaps or oils, or causing excessive water overflow.

8. Hot tub hours are from 12 noon – 10 pm, The hot tub has to be vacated at 10 pm as it is turned off automatically for safety at this time.
